What started out in 1973 as a family owned local heating oil delivery service in Massachusetts has grown through 3 generations to a state of the art pellet stove production facility in Hudson New York. When Grandpa Cohen stated that his customers were having a hard time paying for $0.16 a gallon heating oil and that prices were expected to jump to a quarter a gallon, son Bob and grandson Jack opened their first woodstove business in their garage. Today the owners are relying on 36 years of wood and pellet stove sales and testing plus real world research and development to produce one of the most efficient pellet stoves available on the market today.
